Where to get coupons?

The first thing to couponing is to collect and organize the coupons. We collect coupons from the Sunday edition of Birmingham News as well as coupons.com, red plum and smart source. There is a link to all of these sites under "Links we love" on the right hand side of the page. Occasionally a manufacturer will post coupons on their website or on their Facebook page when this occurs we will post it here and on Facebook but you have to act fast in many cases.
As far as organization there are 2 methods that I am aware of and I use a combination of both. Both methods require a binder which i recommend being 1 1/2 inches or more and a binder bag with writing utensils and scissors. The first method would require you to have baseball card holders. With this method you would clip and organize each coupon. Some do it by aisle, category, expiration date or not at all. The second method you would get plastic sheet protectors and file the entire insert such as "red plum 6/5" or "p & g 6/5" this would allow you to file the coupons by packet until they are needed. Below is a picture of my binder and the combination I use. As you can tell my binder is beautifully covered with a "binder bag" (houndstooth of course!!) by http://www.facebook.com/paisleyprincess . She does wonderful work and can add all sorts of bells and whistles!
