Who else can't believe that it is already August? Time to go back to school! Did you know that back to school shopping has become like a second Christmas to retailers? Great deals and sales are all over the place this time of the year so be on the look out. Here are a few tips to help you out.
- Shop your house for school supplies you may have had a surplus of last year and have forgotten about.
- When shopping for clothes look for things that can be layered to go from the summer to the winter chill.
- Take advantage of tax-free weekends. (This weekend, Alabamians!)
- Reuse zipper binders, cloth book covers, dividers and anything else that is still in good shape and can get the job done.
- Set a up a swap party to exchange clothes and books (think required reading!).
